The latest audit - the Transfusion Documentation Audit - is now available for the 420 registered users.

This audit aims to determine if transfusion documentation relating to prescription, administration and observation is consistent with current recommendations and guidelines.

There's now eight audits on the tool, including the Specimen Collection Observation Audits for inpatients and outpatients. Data from this audit has identified that collectors are working in noisy environments and at risk of distraction during specimen collection.

These audits are a useful benchmark for organisations and can assist with meeting the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ASQHC), Blood Management Standard.
