#TU2020 recordings now free and on demand

◄ Back to Transfusion News

This successful event well and truly achieved our initial vision of bringing together the global transfusion community in the current environment for a free 2-day virtual conference.

Featuring 8 international speakers and Australia’s own leading transfusion experts, we had 1,563 registrations from more than 30 countries around the world.

The program included highlights by Professor John Semple 'Understanding the pathophysiology of TRALI'  and Dr Mark Yazer 'Component and whole blood inventory management during critical bleeding'.

Dr Monica Pagano also presented ‘Challenges in transfusion services during COVID-19 in Washington State’.

600 registrants alone attended the masterclass session on Thursday 17 September ‘The Transfused and the Breathless’.

And the bulk of presentations received a 5-star rating.

If you were unable to attend the conference or missed any presentations, the bulk of the recordings can now be found here.

Transfusion United 2020 was presented by Lifeblood in partnership with the RCPA, RCPA QAP, ANZSBT and the Haematology in Obstetrics & Women's Health (HOW) collaborative.

Thank you to everyone who supported #TU2020.
